Faculty Members of our Department participated at the "The World of the Future: Artificial Intelligence" Conference
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeki Özen and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Kartal, faculty members of our department, attended the "The World of the Future: Artificial Intelligence" Conference organized by the Turkish Informatics Association (TBD) Istanbul Branch and Beykoz Logistics Vocational School. The conference was held at Beykoz University Kavacık Campus Conference Hall with the participation of academicians and students.
The event's opening speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman, Rector of Beykoz University. Afterward, TBD Istanbul Branch Honorary Board Member Deniz Tiryakioğlu, Haliç University Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Management Information Systems Lecturer Dr. Lecturer Gökçe Karahan Adalı, and the members of the Board of Directors of the Department of Management Information Systems. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Karahan Adalı, Faculty Member of the Management Information Systems Department at Haliç University Faculty of Business Administration, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeki Özen and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Kartal, Faculty Members of our Department, took the floor. During the conference, many important issues in the field of artificial intelligence were discussed. Presentations on topics such as ethics, big language models, and deep learning gave participants an in-depth perspective on the current state and future potential of artificial intelligence technologies.
